![]() Even those two that I mentioned as not-as-good are just as good as the rest of the album.įavourite Tracks: No More Tears Hellraiser Road To Nowhere Mama, I'm Coming Home Mr.Road to Nowhere is the eleventh and final track off of Ozzy Osbourne's sixth album No More Tears. Its this little ditty about how theres no order and no plan and no scheme to life and death and it doesnt mean anything, but its all right. According to professional wrestler and Fozzy lead vocalist Chris Jericho, when asked about the title of the song 'A.V.H. They all make this album as good as it is. That pretty much laid out the whole song. ![]() which I really don't care about, and maybe I Don't Want To Change The World, there aren't many tracks that I would get rid of. I mean, I do think that maybe 57 minutes is a bit too long for an Ozzy album? But then again, aside from A.V.H. But then again, considering no more albums from Ozzy's solo stuff are seen in a good light, it is very possible that he falls from grace at some point. The way I see it, Rhoades is more of a guitar solo guy - making some of the best solos in metal history - but Wylde is able to keep a consistently great riff all throughout the track. I do have to admit that I don't think Zakk is anywhere near as good as Rhoades, but he is definitely a phenomenal one who holds his own very well, as shown in songs like S.I.N. The road to nowhere leads to me Ah ah, the road to nowhere's gonna pass me by Ah ah, I hope we never have to say goodbye I never want to live without you (oh yeah) The wreckage of my past keeps haunting me It just won't leave me alone I still find it all a mystery Could it be a dream The road to nowhere leads to me The road to nowhere leads to. ![]() Hell, I even think he made those first two records as good as they are. The song Road To Nowhere by Ozzy Osbourne has a tempo of 77 beats per minute (BPM) on No More Tears. This may be my favourite Ozzy record, but even I can't deny that Rhoades' is one of the greatest guitarists out there. While I did mention in my review for No Rest For The Wicked that Zakk Wylde was an incredibly good guitarist, it was only here that he convinced me that he is not only better than Jake Lee - guitarist for Bark At The Moon and The Ultimate Sin - he actually convinced me that he is a much better successor to the great Randy Rhoades. This album has everything that made me fall in love with the work that Ozzy was apart of, both in Sabbath and in his early solo career. ![]() From classic headbangers like Hellraiser, to unrelenting guitar riffs on Road To Nowhere. The chorus of the song involves Ozzy telling his victim to come along and play my game, telling her youll never be the same. Tinkertrain, to more emotional songs like Mama, I'm Coming Home. The writing here is up there with some of the best written songs on Vol. His follow-up to this is seen as his worst work yet, for chrissakes!) And when I say "return to form," I don't mean Blizzard Of Ozz, I mean Black Sabbath. No More Tears is a very much needed return to form for Ozzy, albeit brief (because, let's admit it, he isn't going to get better than this. There may have been some aspects to his first two albums that were better, and they are certainly seen more as the classics and held in higher regard, but this album is just so much better for me. Its All the things Ive done to me He wrote it about his life, the bullshit he did. Yeah, this is now my favourite solo Ozzy record.
